As soon as I start working on side projects I get swamped with deadlines and bad weather. I had hoped for a day of ‘urban exploring’ with camera in tow.
I’ve been going crazy these past couple weeks alone in this huge house in Siangshan. It got to the point when the cleaning lady came over I just followed her around the house talking to her, craving some kind of human interaction. Our house is far enough away from the city that any trip needs to have a purpose and there aren’t many people in Hsinchu that I actually know – we have all drifted apart. The family returns on Monday post typhoon and the house will be full of the sound of children chattering at the top of their lungs. Looking forward to it.
The above photo was taken at our little slice of solitude in PEI.
